pROJECT pHASES

Inspired by the Netflix series Suits, the project addresses the need for secure document access for legal professionals. Conceptualized as a role-based document management system for the employees of Pearson Specter.
Aimed to offer a centralized, secure, and user-friendly platform for uploading, managing, and accessing legal documents.

Structured development with a focus on:

Frontend using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap
Backend & Database with role-based access control and secure storage
Pages: Dashboard, Department Management, Documents, User Roles & Privileges, Contact IT, and Reports.
Incorporated security features such as user deactivation, login tracking, and RBAC.

Formed a dedicated team of four for tasks like:

Project Management
Database & Frontend Developer
Backend Developer
Project Environment Manager
Communication & Documentation

Weekly meetings ensured transparency, idea sharing, and collaborative decision-making.

Developed all modules with iterative feedback and improvements.
Security Testing included access control, session handling, and penetration testing simulations.
Extensive testing ensured reliability, especially in document access, error handling, and admin functionalities.
Successfully implemented a working model that meets both technical goals and user experience expectations.
